I have a habit of being aware of my surroundings while taking my daily walk. Because it had been raining all week, the dark blue sky with clouds gave me a sense of ambiguity, which led me to think of the words 'Blue' and 'Mist.' A flash of inspiration struck me, and I felt compelled to write something enigmatic in response to 'Blue Mist.'

【Tips on Playing】

'Blue' and 'Mist' indicate tranquillity and obfuscation respectively. With these thoughts in mind, I began this work in F major that sounds cozy, which feels like home, similar to how I attempt to perceive 'blue' in my composition. After the beginning, the key shifts to A minor, giving the listener an unsettling vibe that reflects 'Mist.' As the song proceeds, I added secondary dominant chords to create a sense of mystery, which grew stronger as the song progressed, culminating in an uncertain and ambiguous ending with a C minor chord, thus, this is how the name ‘Blue Mist’ becomes the title of my piano composition.
